Japanese Calligraphy and Seals
In Japan every one owns a personal seal. This seal is more important than a signature. Ancient works of art and documents are often worth more for the owners seals, than for the item itself. But a seal is more than just a stamp, it is an embodiment of who you are. And for Reiki masters, a personal seal is as much self discovery as it is your stamp of approval for students documents.
To create your personal seal, Fokke will meditate on you. After finding a seal stone which fits you and your energy, Fokke will find your seal script text. This seal script represents you and your life path. Fokke will then carve this text using the traditional Japanese artistic design in to the stone.
As Masters in the Reiki Usui Discipline, Fokke and Maria both use their personal seals on their student’s certificates.
